Sept. 25th, 2024 – This month, PNC Technology announced good news: The main R&D building of Binjiang Innovation Center was successfully capped, which was completed ahead of schedule.

Binjiang Innovation Center will be the new headquarters and innovation center of PNC Technology. It is located in the Zizhu Park in Shanghai, from Zhongyueying Road in the east to Ziri Road in the west; from Jinhaitang Road in the south to Lanxianghu South Road in the north. Total investment: ￥672.64 million. Total construction area: 48700.65 square meters. The construction started in November last year.

Apart from the main R&D building, there will be 4 buildings, including R&D workshop, office complex, dormitory and supporting complex, expected to be completed in June 2025. Upon completion, Binjiang Innovation Center will better support the development of PNC Technology, with all business units gathered. Meanwhile, the new R&D center will attract more talents. The next generation of single-chip wet process platform, process module and core parts R&D will be integrated into a complete circle from R&D design to R&D manufacturing. It houses the 0-1 process, in contrast to the 1-N process the large manufacturing base in Qidong.

The current headquarters on Zihai Road will become the group's training center and research institute (mainly for pre-research and technical research). In this way, the company is able to arrange the R&D work in different stages (technology research, platform R&D, product development and application design) in a more orderly manner.
