PNC, 22 years old

In 2022, the international and domestic epidemics and geopolitics have brought great challenges to the development of the country's economy and industry. With the semiconductor and biotechnology industry as the main body, we have maintained great uncertainty about the world for several years, and the externalities of enterprises have always been disturbing factors. This is the environment and challenges we are facing when we reach the year of 2022. However, we’re convinced that it will be an opportunity for us to develop.

Under the severe situation of the epidemic in Shanghai, more than 300 colleagues overcame the difficulties and chose to stay with the company, go to the factory and the site to work, which provided a guarantee for our timely delivery. At the end of May, the Shanghai Municipal Party Secretary Liqiang visited PNC, focusing on the industrial chain situation. Our PNC community stayed behind to protect production, directly supporting industrial development positively. Faced with external disruptive factors, our team handled various severe challenges. We needed deeper focus, quicker responsiveness, and more resources. Every challenge was a test for the business. We have seen the excellent side of our organization emerge, as well as facing our own weaknesses. Moving forward, there is still a long way to go with lots of problems to overcome.

The road is long with lots of problems to solve. Immediate action should be taken to guarantee excellence. This year, under such a difficult business background, we are also growing and developing. Up till September 30th, our frontline team has won more than 3.6 billion yuan in orders; PNC Integrated Company’s annual equipment shipments created a new high record. The first bulk gas station supporting the 12-inch fabb has been supplying gas for more than 10 months. We all presented high-quality data on the client side and started to shoot up through ULTRON’s wet process equipment in SPM, BSK and several other process machines that have been monopolized by foreign manufacturers. PNC Integrated Qidong Base ushered in the first batch of velvet cleaning equipment offline and won 10GW whole line N battery new line of dozens of velvet equipment orders; Zhihui Science and Technology Park officially opened; Haining module, parts project, Japanese factory construction and others were completed. Our product line is still deepening and our organizational strength is under continuous development. Our digital process needs continuous investment, and our production capacity construction is also progressing. In the age of high-uncertainty we use concentration and determination to focus on the areas wherever things remain static and requiring more time. Action is coming.
